Ball crusher is used to grind iron ore and other materials, ball crusher is widely used in industries such as ore recruitment, construction materials such as cement, iron and steel, chemical industry..... There are two methods of grinding ore: dry type and wet type, based on ore removal method (two types): checkered type and overflow type. Ball crushers are important equipment in terms of re-grinding. Ball crushers are widely used in the industries of crushing stone, cement, ore, chemicals, building materials......
The principle of structure and operation.
The ball crusher is composed of rotating barrels containing steel balls of different sizes on the inside of the barrel, spinning operation through external gear transmission. The materials will be put into cylindrical crushing tanks, the barrel rotates at a speed of 4-20 rpm, the speed of rotation is slow depending on the diameter of the crushing barrel, with the crushing barrel with a large diameter will give a slower speed than the barrel with a small diameter. When the barrel rotates, centrifugal force is generated, the crushed material and balls in the barrel are brought up to a certain degree, under the influence of gravity will fall freely, the free-falling balls hit the crushed material, causing them to crumble. As a result of the process that occurs constantly, the material is ground into a fine powder.
If the crushing barrel has too great rotational speed, a large centrifugal force is generated and the crushing balls and materials are thrown along the walls of the barrel without falling, so that no pulsing process occurs, the speed at which such a process occurs is called "critical speed". To ensure the efficiency and grinding speed, the rotational speed of the ball crusher is usually about 65-75% of the critical speed.
Performance and features of ball crushers.
1. Simple structure, convenient maintenance, high capacity.
2. Easy installation, long continuous operation time.
3. Perishable parts have high resistance, long replacement cycle.
